Leadership Transition in the UL Lafayette Foundation and University Advancement麻豆视频
Dear faculty and staff,
I wanted to make you aware of a change in leadership at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation.
The Foundation's Board of Trustees has announced the retirement of CEO John Blohm. John joined the University in 2015 as vice president for University Advancement and served concurrently as the Foundation's CEO. During his tenure, philanthropic support helped strengthen scholarships, academic excellence, research, athletics and student success.
To ensure continuity, the Board of Trustees has appointed Karl Meche as interim CEO while it conducts a search for a permanent successor. Karl will continue to serve as the Foundation's chief financial and administrative officer.
In addition, the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors recently approved the appointment of Dr. Geoffrey Stewart as interim vice president for University Advancement and Strategy.
Please join me in thanking John for his service and congratulating Karl and Geoff on their interim appointments.
Thank you for your continued commitment to our University.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ramesh Kolluru
President
